Service · Shopify development
Shopify stores, built for your catalogue.
We build and rebuild Shopify stores: a theme adapted to your catalogue, sections developed for you, or a headless store when speed demands it. SEO and sales tracking are in place from launch.
Your store goes live with Search Console and analytics already connected.

Context
What Shopify does, and what we do
Shopify already handles payments, hosting and stock. We work on the rest: clear product pages, a search that finds things, a checkout without friction, and pages that Google understands.
What we hear
What store owners tell us
Your store runs on a theme you no longer dare to touch. Your product pages all look the same. Visitors arrive, but carts stay empty.
What we deliver
What your Shopify store gets
The right amount of custom work
Theme customisation when it is enough, custom sections when your catalogue calls for them, headless when every tenth of a second counts. You do not pay for code you do not need.
A search that finds things
Filters, collections and search designed for your catalogue. For Express Parts, we built a parts search by number plate and by VIN.
E-commerce SEO from day one
Collections, product pages, structured data, redirects from old addresses: the store is readable by Google the day it launches.
You stay in control
You edit your products, pages and promotions yourself, without calling us.
Theme or code
Three ways to build a store
Every Shopify build starts with a choice: customised theme, custom sections or headless. All three exist, and they do not cost the same. We decide based on your catalogue, the way you sell and the budget you want to keep for advertising. A customised theme is enough more often than people think: Coquillettes Club runs on a theme reworked to fit the brand, and the store does what it needs to do.
Custom sections come in when the catalogue does not fit the mould. Express Parts sells used engines, and its customers search by number plate or VIN. We stayed on Dawn, Shopify's free theme, and developed the missing sections. The store keeps Shopify's editor, and the search does what no theme could.
Headless separates the storefront from Shopify's engine, as we did for Cosykami. We code every page, and Shopify keeps the products, the stock and the payments. We suggest it when speed or experience truly demand it. You should know this before signing: every later change to the storefront then needs development, where a theme is adjusted from the admin.
Your catalogue
What we read in your catalogue
William has worked on Shopify for nearly ten years, and many of our clients run on it. He always starts with the same file: your product export. The number of products, the variants, the sizes, how the collections are organised. It shows quickly whether your customers will find what they want in two clicks. It also shows the duplicates and orphan products nobody ever sorted.
Then we read your product pages, one by one, starting with the best sellers. When descriptions come from the supplier, other stores publish exactly the same words. Google then has no reason to show you rather than them. We find those pages, and decide with you which to rewrite first, in your words and your customers' words.
If the store already exists, we look at where sales come from and where visitors drop off. A product page with lots of visits and few sales, a cart abandoned at the shipping cost, an internal search that returns nothing. These are concrete leads, noted for the rebuild. They often matter more than the choice of colours.
Moving to Shopify
Migrating without losing rankings
Moving to Shopify from another platform means moving products, customers and orders. It also means every old address has to lead to its new page. Without those redirects, the rankings you already have do not follow the store.
So we move all three, products, customers and orders, and redirect the old addresses. The store then goes live with Search Console already connected.
After launch
A store that keeps moving
Choosing who builds your Shopify store also matters after launch. At Coquillettes Club, we track SEO continuously and built the social media strategy. Its Search Console keeps the record: from 3 to 30 October 2026, the store received 1,282 clicks from Google, against 324 on the same dates in 2025, and 37,257 impressions against 4,957. The store changes with each collection, and SEO keeps pace.
We are careful with apps from the Shopify App Store. Each one adds code to your pages, and often a monthly subscription on top of the others. Before installing one, we check whether a theme section or a few lines of code do the same job. When the app is the right choice, we install it and tell you what it costs.
What comes next can stay with us. Lumbe runs the Facebook and Instagram campaigns, William handles SEO, and development continues with the same people. You do not have to explain your store again for each new need.

The method
How a Shopify build runs
Catalogue audit
We look at your products, your customers and your current store if you have one, to decide how much custom work is useful.
Mock-ups of the key pages
Home, collection, product page, cart. These are the pages that sell, so we design them first.
Development and integrations
Payments, carriers, email marketing, reviews: we connect what is useful, and only that.
Launch and handover
Product import, redirects, test orders checked, then a walkthrough of the admin with you.

Questions
Shopify development questions
How much does a Shopify store cost?
There are two parts. The Shopify subscription, paid directly to Shopify each month, depends on the plan you choose, plus payment fees and any paid apps. Then building the store: with us, from €4,500 on a customised theme, and €9,000 to €18,000 for a store with custom sections and integrations.
Shopify or WooCommerce: which should I choose?
Shopify hosts the store and handles updates, security and payments: you focus on selling. WooCommerce and PrestaShop are free to install, but hosting, updates and plugins are your job or your provider's. For a store without a technical team, Shopify often costs less to run.
Do I need Shopify experts to build my store?
Not always: a customised theme is enough more often than people think. A Shopify developer becomes useful when your catalogue does not fit the mould and needs search or sections that no theme offers, or when you move from another platform and the old addresses have to be redirected. With us, the Shopify expert you talk to is the one who builds your store.
How do you build a Shopify store?
In order: sort the catalogue (products, variants, collections), choose the theme, write product pages that answer customers' questions, connect payments and shipping, then prepare the pages for Google before launch. It is the path we follow with you, in 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the size of the catalogue.
Can you migrate my store to Shopify?
Yes: products, customers, orders, and redirects from the old addresses so you keep the rankings you already have.
Do you handle sales after launch?
Yes. Lumbe runs Meta Ads campaigns, William handles SEO and growth. You keep the same people from building the store to selling through it.
