Context
Why a strategy comes first
Many businesses run without a clear direction. They test tools, change providers, spend on badly chosen channels. A clear strategy avoids that.
What we hear
What we hear before a strategy
You do SEO, ads and social media, but none of it is coordinated. Each provider pulls in its own direction. You feel you are spending without consistency or an overall view.
What we deliver
Your digital strategy, point by point
An audit of your current presence
Website, SEO, ads, social media, email: we take an honest look at what works and what does not.
Competitor analysis
We analyse your 5 main digital competitors to find the opportunities they are not using yet.
A prioritised roadmap
A six-month action plan, ranked by impact and feasibility. You know what to do first, second and third.
The right channels
SEO, paid search, email, content, social: we tell you which channels to invest in based on your market, not on trends.
The starting point
A digital strategy starts from your numbers
Every digital strategy starts from your needs, and our team adapts to the way you work. We begin with what only you know: your margin per product or service, your best months, your most loyal customers and why they come back. The first meeting is spent on these questions, before talking about websites or ads. The answers often rule out half of the initial ideas.
We also ask what you can absorb. A campaign that doubles enquiries is useless if your team cannot answer them the same day. So the pace of the strategy follows your capacity to deliver.
Then comes the data: website analytics, Search Console, sales, past campaigns. It confirms or contradicts what you thought about your customers. Both often come up in the same meeting. The gaps are valuable, because they show where money goes out without coming back.
The trade-offs
Why we will make you drop a channel
With a limited budget, two channels done well return more than five channels each run at half effort. So a strategy is first a way of saying no. We explain why one channel comes after another, with what it would cost and what it could return. The channel set aside is not condemned: it comes back later, once the first ones are running.
Each channel has its own pace. SEO takes months, but keeps working without an ad budget. Meta Ads campaigns give numbers within weeks, and stop the day you cut the budget. An app is expensive, and only makes sense if your customers come back often.
We know these channels because we work on them every week for our clients. A recommendation on SEO comes from William, one on Meta from Lumbe, one on the website from the people who will code it. The scenarios stay realistic, because we know what each one takes in time and budget.
What you receive
A roadmap you can follow
At the end, you receive a short document, split into sprints. Each action has an owner, an estimated cost and the number that will say whether it worked. We talk you through it, and change it with you before finalising it. The engagement is priced on request.
You are free to carry it out however you want: with us, with your team, or with other providers. The roadmap is written so anyone can pick it up without calling us. The priorities are justified, so they can be discussed.
If you hand us what comes next, we move in sprints, with a deliverable and a review each month, numbers in hand. We check that the roadmap still describes your business, and correct it when the market has moved.
The method
How a digital strategy gets built
Data collection
Google Analytics, Search Console, CRM, sales data: we start from real numbers, not assumptions.
Analysis and benchmark
We cross-reference your data with a market analysis and a competitor benchmark to find the opportunities.
Building the strategy
We build 2 to 3 growth scenarios, each with its cost, timeline and potential. We present them and choose together.
Handing over the roadmap
A clear, prioritised, actionable document. Whether you carry it out with us or in-house, you have the direction.
Questions
Digital strategy questions
What is a digital strategy?
The plan that says where to put your budget and your time online: which channels, in what order, for what result. It starts from your numbers (margin, loyal customers, sales) and is mainly used to choose, which means ruling out what will not pay at your scale.
What does a digital strategy look like in practice?
With us, a short document split into sprints. Each action has an owner, an estimated cost and the number that will say whether it worked. We talk you through it, and change it with you before finalising it.
How long does a digital strategy take?
It depends on the project. Usually, allow two weeks for a complete strategy, including the audit, the competitor analysis and the roadmap.
Does the strategy include execution?
The strategy engagement is separate from execution. At the end, you can choose to hand us the execution, do it in-house, or work with other providers.
Who is this service for?
Businesses that are already online but lack consistency or direction. Also founders who are starting out and want to avoid costly mistakes.
